We offer you this elegant Ulysse Nardin Automatic watch from the 1960s, a refined piece that perfectly embodies the Swiss watchmaking know-how of the time. This watch, with its gold-plated case, is in very good overall condition and reflects the discreet and timeless elegance of the brand.
Founded in 1846 in Locle, Switzerland, it is a watchmaker renowned for its marine chronometers, high-precision instruments used by sailors. In the 1960s, the brand was going through a period of transition and modernization, having built its reputation on timepieces intended for maritime use. Although competition with quartz watch manufacturers was becoming increasingly pressing, Ulysse Nardin continued to produce high-precision mechanical watches.
The case measures 32 mm without the crown and has a screwed steel case back, signed "Ulysse Nardin, Locle Suisse", guaranteeing its authenticity and origin. The champagne gold dial, in good general condition, is protected by a plexiglass glass, bringing an additional vintage touch to this classic watch.
This watch is powered by a Swiss automatic movement Felsa 4000, reworked by Ulysse Nardin and equipped with a 21-jewel anchor escapement.
This watch comes without box and papers.
