The Must de Cartier collection, introduced in the late 1970s, marks a significant milestone in the Maison's history. Cartier reinterpreted the aesthetic codes of its iconic models while making them more accessible, notably through the use of gold-plated silver cases, known as vermeil. The Tank Must quickly became one of the flagship models of this new line.

Inspired by the world of Cartier's Trinity collection, this type of dial plays on the three tones of yellow, rose, and white gold, in a composition that is both understated and original.
