Omega's 2849 series features large lug cases with a sporty yet formal look. This model is particularly appreciated for its robustness and its indexes. This is a beautiful watch that combines history, aesthetics and watchmaking performance.

This Seamaster went out of production in 1956 and is equipped with the famous automatic caliber 503, produced between 1955 and 1960. It has a 34 mm stainless steel case, a central seconds function and a date function at 3 hours.

The dauphine hands and arrow-end indexes stand out against an ultra-white dial, giving the watch a timeless elegance. The crown is signed, the case with pressed back, as well as the mechanism, are signed and numbered. This watch also has its original Plexiglas glass (Omega marking present).

The watch escapement has recently been lubricated by a watchmaker, the shaft wheel has been riveted and the glass has been polished (although light scratches still remain).

This watch comes without box/papers.
