Beautiful vintage Longines Amiral 5 Stars “Day-date” watch. The Day-date version of the Longines Admiral is much less common than its sister ref.8336 which simply has a date window.
This is a 35mm piece (excluding crown) powered by the Longines 507 movement. An automatic movement with around forty power reserve. The movement works perfectly as does its date window at 3 o'clock. On this movement, only the date has the "Quick set date" function by applying pressure on the crown. All parts of this watch are original: dial, case back, hands and crown.
This watch has been worn throughout its life, but it is still in fair condition considering its age. The main faults are concentrated on the dial. The black dial is marked with age and is missing the 9 o'clock index. The case is in good condition but shows traces of use because it is not polished. The watch comes with a generic leather strap and its Longines suede pouch.
This watch comes without box/papers.
