IWC Electronic ref.3402 Full set - 1972
IWC Electronic ref.3402 Full set - 1972
We offer you an exceptional piece from IWC: an Electronic ref.3402 with its original full set from 1972. Take the opportunity to add this rare piece to your collection.
This Electronic, close to the design of the Yachtclub, was only manufactured for 2 years (1971-1973). 24,000 Electronic ref.3402s were produced by IWC over this period. 6,000 were equipped with a day-date movement (ref.3602). This watch was purchased in January 1972 in Hamburg, Germany, more precisely from the retailer W. Becker & Co. OHG (which still exists today). It comes with the following items:
- Original IWC box
- Original guarantee
- Original user manual
- Original document holder with IWC logo
The ESA 9162 movement (badged caliber 150 by IWC) benefits from the recognition of Bulova patents inside the case back.
The C-shaped case is well finished, in very good overall condition. The original, unrestored dial is in excellent condition, as are the straight, original hands. The crown, decorated with the IWC fish symbol, recalls models with water resistance (not guaranteed today).
