Founded in 1856, Eterna holds a unique place in the history of Swiss watchmaking, notably for its pioneering role in the development of modern automatic movements. The Eterna-Matic line combines mechanical reliability, refined design, and timeless elegance.
This Eterna-Matic reference 13405, produced in the 1980s, is powered by the renowned ETA 2892-2 caliber, here plated in yellow gold. This automatic movement is known for its exceptional slimness, precision, and robustness, and it would later serve as the basis for numerous high-end calibers from other Swiss manufacturers.
The 33mm case, crafted from 20-micron yellow gold-plated stainless steel, boasts classic and balanced proportions, perfectly suited to an elegant and understated timepiece. It frames an original, unaltered champagne dial, offering clear legibility and a refined aesthetic, characteristic of dress watches of that era.
This watch comes without a box or papers.
