The Cartier Must Ronde reference 1800-1 is part of the line of “Must de Cartier” models launched in the 1970s. This collection aimed to make the Cartier aesthetic more accessible, while retaining the Maison's iconic codes: Roman numerals, railway minute track and blued hands.
La Ronde Solo perpetuates this heritage with a perfectly classic and balanced silhouette. Its round case with soft lines showcases a clean white dial with black Roman numerals, a timeless Cartier signature. The blued hands provide the elegant contrast characteristic of the brand.
The model shown here is powered by the Cartier quartz caliber 87, a reliable and precise movement, perfectly suited to an everyday dress watch. Its 925 silver case, plated with 20 microns of yellow gold (vermeil), offers a warm and inviting presence on the wrist, while maintaining restrained and elegant proportions.
The case back features the Cartier signature and the hallmarks specific to Must productions in vermeil. The crown is original and retains its blue cabochon in excellent condition. This watch perfectly embodies the minimalist Parisian elegance of the 1990s, with a design that remains remarkably modern today.
